Station 0 includes the area around the Lunar Module (LM). It also includes the areas where the astronauts deployed the Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package (ALSEP) and the Surface Electrical Properties Experiment (SEP). The ALSEP was deployed approximately 185 meters west-northwest of the LM and included the Lunar Seismic Profiling, Heat Flow, Lunar Surface Gravimeter, Lunar Ejecta and Meteorites, and Lunar Atmospheric Composition experiments. The SEP was deployed about 120 m east of the LM. Other activities included sample collection, a deep core sample, traverse gravimeter measurements, deployment of the Lunar Neutron Probe and Cosmic Ray Experiments, and photography.
