Quick start for new users

A quick start list shows recommendations for new users of the Notebook. Recommendations are based on user interest and level of expertise.

Mission and instrument archive documents

Access to documents like the mission Archive Plan, data set Software Interface Specification (SIS) documents that provide detailed descriptions of data products, Mission and Instrument Description (Catalog) Files, calibration, and errata files.

DOIs

Find digital object identifiers (DOIs) for referencing archive data in your research.

Rover traverse and coordinate systems

M20 MER MSL

Orbital maps and rover localization data and documentation from the archive are described and linked. A deep dive on rover locations and how positions are tracked is available in this help.
