Release Notes -  April 29, 2009

Data in this release

The Phoenix Mission has ended and data for all sols (0 to 152) have been released

Most of the released data are in the Notebook. Some data were not released in time to be included in this Notebook release, but are available from the Planetary Data System (PDS). Refer to the table below.
Data in the Notebook, integrated in sol summaries and the search tools

Surface Stereo Imager (SSI) Atmospheric opacity
  Telltale Wind velocity

Data not in the Notebook
MECA Wet Chemistry Lab (WCL) Derived concentration time series Available from PDS Geosciences Node
Robotic Arm Raw data Not available due to ITAR restrictions
Robotic Arm Derived data sets In progress

Calibration Reports / Software Interface Specifications

Calibration reports and Software Interface Specification (SIS) documents have been ITAR approved. The SSI calibration report was placed online April 29, 2010.

Features and Targets

The sol summaries contain a list of features and targets defined by the science team that were available for use on a given sol. Not every feature or target listed was used.

Daily activity plans are included in Sol Summaries as Timeline reports. Shown are activities, targets, features, and related products

Coordinated Observations

The Phoenix and Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) missions carried out a series of coordinated observations. Data are available from Sol Summaries and from Search.
