The Resources tab is designed to promote understanding of the mission, spacecraft, instruments, and data formats. View the supporting documentation for a specific instrument by clicking on its list entry.

 

Navigating to the Experiment Documentation

 

You can access the experiment documents by clicking on the "Resources" tab, and then clicking on the "Experiment Documents" link. Refer to the station "Summary report" for documentation detailing day-to-day mission operations.

How to use the Resources Page

 

The Resources page is organized into two Sections: Mission Documents and Web Resources.

 

Mission Documents contains links to pdf versions of Apollo era documents.  Mission Documents is divided into four subsections: Overviews, Samples, Instruments/Experiments, and photography.  The Overview subsections contains documents that provide an overview of the Apollo mission, including pre-mission planning through post-mission science analysis.  The Samples subsection contains documents describing sample collection procedures, catalogs of samples, geologic settings of the landing site, and sample analysis.  The Instruments/Experiments subsection contains documents with detailed instrument specifications as well as information on experiment data.  The photography subsection contains descriptions of photography performed at the landing site.

 

Web Resources contains links to external websites with Apollo information.  The Web Resources section is divided into four subsections: Overviews and Data Sources, Photography, Samples, Instruments/Experiments.  The Overviews and Data Sources subsection contains links to data repositories as well as links to sites that provide mission summaries and overview information.  The Photography subsection contains links to Apollo images.  The Samples subsection contains links to online sample catalogs and images and links to information on how to request samples for analysis.  The Instruments/Experiments subsection contains links to information about instrument specifications and performance reviews.
