The Mission Summaries provide a way to step through the operations of the Apollo 16 astronauts. They are included in the AN to provide the user with a concise overview of the progress of particular instruments throughout the mission. Currently a timeline of surface activities in the only mission summary information available in the notebook. Additional summary information will be added to the notebook as it is restored.
Navigating to Mission Summaries
Access the "Mission Summaries" page from the Apollo AN Homepage by clicking on "Mission Summaries" or at any time by clicking on the "Mission Summaries" tab.
How to Use the Mission Summaries Page
Click on the "timeline" link to view a timeline of surface activities. The timelines are based on information contained in the Apollo Mission Reports and Apollo Preliminary Science Reports. The timelines also contain links to Station pages within the notebook. Note that elapsed time is the number of hours, minutes, seconds measured after launch from earth, which is designated as time 00:00:00.
