Using the Analyst's Notebook

The Phoenix Analyst's Notebook (AN) provides access to the Phoenix mission data archives by integrating sequence information, engineering and science data, and documentation into standard web-accessible pages to facilitate a mission "replay." The AN is not an operational tool and its intended audience is the PDS science community. Updates to the AN will be made every day during the mission, but project members should be aware that the AN is developed on a best efforts basis and may contain errors.

 

 

Use the table of contents and keyword index available on the left side of this page to navigate through the AN help. Major sections of the AN help are summarized below.        

 

•The Analyst's Notebook structure, layout, and processing information are described within this section.
•The mission is described in the Phoenix Mission section.
•The science instruments are described in the Instruments section.
•The data products, including product structure, file naming, and product types, are described in the Data Products section.
•Users experiencing technical difficulty accessing the AN may look in the Troubleshooting or FAQ sections for solutions or visit the User Forum.
•The Appendices section contains information on acronyms, sources, credits, and contact information.
